Chateau la Roussille: Our welcoming entrance hall with its grand, original double doors lead into the property from the long front terrace. The lovely dining room to the right of the hall is where breakfasts are served every morning, sometimes this can be taken outside too.

Opposite are double doors to the elegant Morning Room, this is a space offered to all our guests to relax, take afternoon tea on arrival, read or listen to music. Two further sets of double doors lead you out onto the terraces, gardens and parking.

The beautiful original walnut staircase takes you up to the first floor and the large bedroom suites, or up the first 2 steps to the hidden door to Madeleine, the studio suite.

La Roussille sits centrally in its own 50 acres of private land. This mainly comprises of paddocks, woodland and meadows of wild flowers and orchids early summer, perfect if you like to walk and explore.

The pretty formal gardens to the front of the property lead through a small maze to a private lawn and garden.

The terraces all have tables and seating for you to enjoy and Breakfasts are sometimes served out here.

A 14 by 7 metre swimming pool with surrounding terrace provides a tranquil area for lounging and recuperation after a swim.

Residents staying in the private apartment wing have their own driveway and parking.

There’s ample parking by the courtyard for those staying any of the suites in the main part of the house. Take the first driveway on the left, between the 2 pillars as you approach Chateau la Roussille ahead of you.

Sinnington Common Farm: is a working family farm with 135 acres. The small cottages have been sympathetically converted from farm buildings but most of the original buildings have been retained and are still used for farming purposes. Some of the buildings are over 200 years old and swallows return to them each year flying in and out of the buildings all summer long. The farm is set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors in Ryedale.

Our many farmyard animals include goats, poultry, Dasher the Dexter bull(who thinks he's a horse!) and his girl friends, coloured cobs, Haflinger and Appaloosa horses, Coco the donkey, and Jimmie the pot-bellied pig, friendly farm cats and dogs, ewes and lambs (pet lambs to feed at certain times of the year). Many are rescue animals and guests are welcome to interact with them.
