The Old Dairy Cottage is a cosy comfortable barn conversion with beautiful oak beams and stonework. It's most stunning feature has to be the wonderful views of the Washburn Valley, your own private terrace and large garden. The layout is open plan with a sociable lounge, dining and kitchen space combined. The property was originally a milking parlour and is all on one level.

The Courtyard Cottage has relaxing colour schemes with beautiful accent colours adding to the ambience. Your own pretty cottage garden is perfect after a long day touring The Yorkshire Dales to sit and relax in and catch the last of the setting sun. The building was originally a tailors workshop in the 1800's and has an upstairs bedroom, separate kitchen and a luxurious bathroom with separate shower cubicle and a lovely deep bath. 

Both cottages are over 200 years old, beautifully styled and with lots of charm. They are perfect for couples choosing a relaxing and restful holiday in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Each have log burners as well as independent central heating.

Opt to book a romantic evening dinner served privately to you in your chosen cottage. You can even arrange to have dinner on the night of your arrival - self catering doesn't mean you always have to cook! The ingredients are seasonally chosen from excellent local Yorkshire food producers and farm shops.

Alternatively, you could take a short 2 minute walk to our fantastic village pub/restaurant or even order take away fish and chips!

Weighton Wolds Cottage​: Once a farm building, a sometime hovel and bothy for Dad’s Army, the Cottage is now available to walkers and grockles.. It may be booked by the night, for short breaks or by the week. It has two bedrooms, sleeping up to three people in quiet, unassuming comfort.
The Holiday Cottage is tucked away in a secluded spot in Market Weighton just a mile from the Wolds Way, and a couple of hundred yards from the Hudson Way track which crosses the Wolds Way. Your feet need barely touch tarmac to get here making it excellent accommodation for walkers.
If you want to use the Cottage as a base from which to walk more than one section of the Wolds Way, you can arrange with us to be transported to or from a pickup point. Alternatively, or in addition, why not use the Cottage as a base from which to visit York, Beverley and Hull either by car or bus. The coast is brilliant, but you would really need a car to explore it.

Lilac Cottage: The cottage is cosy, comfortable and well equipped, and can sleep up to four adults, with a travel cot and high chair provided for an additional young child.  One small, well behaved pet may be accommodated by arrangement. This small terraced cottage combines a good deal of charm and character with a pleasant and peaceful East Yorkshire coastal village location.Aldbrough is situated in the vale of Holderness, 12 miles north of the City of Hull, (City of Culture 2017) a short drive from the historic town of Beverley, and 7 miles south of Hornsea.The village of Aldbrough is served with Local shops an excellent fish & chip shop, public houses serving traditional home cooked food, a sports hall, there is a limited bus service, and for those wishing to take an excursion from the village, there is a private coach operator offering a list of destinations.

The cottage is located just a short walk from all local amenities, to the east of the village church. The church was built mainly in  the Norman style with evidence of Saxon architecture around the windows and doors, inside the church can boast the tomb of Sir John de Melsa, a 6’6 warrior of great note, he was Governor of York from 1292-1296.

 The village is surrounded by open fields with no shortage of interesting walks, and the cottage is located approximately one mile   from the sea, offering a sheltered beach at low tide. From spring to autumn caravaners visit regularly, and the caravan park social club offers many evenings of entertainment throughout the season.

Crossbeck Cottage: is situated in a very picturesque part of the North East Yorkshire Coast. 
Crossbeck Cottage is a family-friendly cottage in the beautiful, tiny village of Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire. The historic, visitor-friendly town and port of Whitby is only 4 miles away. The cottage sleeps 6 and is fully equipped for self-catering holidays. There is parking for 2 cars in the front of the cottage. At the back, the garden has spectacular views of the bay and local landmark, Ravenscar. Sinnington Common Farm: is a working family farm with 135 acres. The small cottages have been sympathetically converted from farm buildings but most of the original buildings have been retained and are still used for farming purposes. Some of the buildings are over 200 years old and swallows return to them each year flying in and out of the buildings all summer long. The farm is set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors in Ryedale.

Our many farmyard animals include goats, poultry, Dasher the Dexter bull(who thinks he's a horse!) and his girl friends, coloured cobs, Haflinger and Appaloosa horses, Coco the donkey, and Jimmie the pot-bellied pig, friendly farm cats and dogs, ewes and lambs (pet lambs to feed at certain times of the year). Many are rescue animals and guests are welcome to interact with them.

The southern tip of Lake Windermere is just 4 miles away, and within a short walking distance is the vibrant historic village of Cartmel. This idyllic timber frame lodge sleeps four people comfortably, with a south facing garden offering stunning views of the South Lakeland District fells, and a west facing terrace, ideal for alfresco dining. Access to an open orchard is directly at the rear of the lodge, a permitted & perfect playing area for children or exercising dogs.

Open plan living & dining area. The spacious, wood-beamed room has a wooden floor, includes a new gas log burner style fire, electric heater, flatscreen TV/DVD with Freeview, Leather suite & dining table. The living area opens onto a terrace. 
The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven & hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, toaster and kettle; sorry, no dishwasher or washing machine. You'll find all the crockery and utensils that you should need.

The Barn: is situated on the edge of the village of Buckden in Upper Wharfedale, a beautiful region in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

Buckden has some delightful walks for all grades of walker, ranging from gentle strolls along the river Wharfe to the nearby villages of Starbotton and Hubberholme, to a stiff climb up Buckden Pike or the challenge of the Three Peaks.

The bustling market towns of Skipton, Grassington and Hawes are also within a few miles.

The Barn is available to rent and sleeps 5 people comfortably. 

 

The Barn has an 'upside down' feel to it. The living rooms are upstairs to take advantage of the spectacular views, whilst the bedrooms and bathroom are on the ground floor.

Stag Cottage: (built c.1580): is a tiny, beautiful and historic Grade II Listed building hidden away in the ancient Pennine village of Heptonstall.

Heptonstall is a beautiful hill top village situated in the heart of Calderdale, West Yorkshire, some 500 feet above the popular and bustling town of Hebden Bridge. The village has 2 pubs, a cafe, a village post office and a small museum.

The cottage sleeps 3 adults (1 kingsize, 1 single) and there is also a fold up cot for infants. Gas central heating. Fully fitted kitchen with gas stove. Bicycle storage in dungeon (19C village lock up in basement of cottage). Free parking within 50 yards of the cottage. A regular bus service runs between Heptonstall and Hebden Bridge. Train station at Hebden Bridge.

Stag cottage oozes charm and retains many original features, including stone mullioned windows, arched lintels, wooden beams and a king post truss with wattle and daub infill. A 4ft 6" high beam separates the kitchen from the living area.

The surrounding countryside is breathtaking, ideal for walking and cycling, including the nearby National Trust owned Hardcastle Crags. There are literary links to both the Bronte family in nearby Haworth and to Ted Hughes and his wife Sylvia Plath, who is buried in the village church yard. The unique and popular town of Hebden Bridge is just a short walk down the hill, offering dozens of independent shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes.

Sarnia Holiday Cottage: has been completely renovated and modernised for our own holiday use and to provide you with a comfortable holiday accommodation.

We have tried to make it a real ‘home from home’ and provide every comfort to make your stay enjoyable.

We have been renting Sarnia for over 20 years, and many families have returned numerous times. The house is situated in a quiet road just 100 yards from the safe, sandy beach and village centre of Marazion.

Accommodation comprises:

Lounge / Kitchen / diner: Seating for 6 and fully equipped with cooker, fridge and microwave and dishwasher, opening on to living room: Comfortable chairs and single bed-settee, TV, DVD player, hi-fi.

There is a new sun lounge, with settee, leading on to the small back yard. This is completely enclosed therefore ideal for small children.

There is a multi-fuel burning stove in the lounge as well as 3 storage heaters.

The bathrooms: The main bathroom is downstairs, and contains bath and shower. Upstairs there is a toilet and washbasin.

Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms, two with a double bed, the other with bunks. . A sun balcony leads off one of the bedrooms. A travelling cot is available and will fit in either large bedroom.

There are night-store heaters in all rooms.

In Slingsby you will find a pub, restaurant, farm shop and children's play park. Nearby are the market towns of Malton, Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Helmsley, while York and the East Coast are also within easy reach.

Each self-catering cottage is furnished to a very high standard, with all the facilities necessary to ensure you have a comfortable stay. The Arches is the first of two holiday cottages which have been converted from old farm buildings. The accommodation is comfortable, well maintained, and furnished to a high standard.
